We just completed a 34-window painting project. The customer complained that the window trim had just been painted 2 years ago. It’s no wonder the prior paint job didn’t last. Cheap paint, thinned down, then sprayed on looks nice at first, but will not last.
I explained to the customer that we do not spray paint or stain. We always roll and brush it on.
Also, proper preparation is key to a lasting paint job. Repairing rotten wood with vinyl. Sanding and scraping old paint is a must, as well as cleaning off dirt, mildew or algae.
At Atlanta Property Matters we take the time to do a job right. We believe that it’s a better value for our customers to pay for quality workmanship one time (the first time) rather than paying for a cheap project multiple times.
