This summer window and door trim repairs have been the “hot” item on clients to-do lists. But before I give you an estimate on repairs, it’s good to locate the source of the damage first, correct that, and then move on to repairs.
Case in point, I just did an estimate for a client who was concerned about excessive amounts of water landing on the patio and splashing back onto the rear entry door and during heavy rains, water would actually puddle on the finished basement floor. After a quick look around, I was able to determine that the cause of the excess water was due to a missing splash guard on the gutter that was allowing water from a roof ridge to over shoot the gutter during heavy rains. For a lasting repair, it’s critical to find the source of the problem and get that fixed before moving on to any repairs.
At Atlanta Property Matters, we like to fix things once. And our clients agree.
